॥ Arati of Guru Gajanan ॥
Jai jai Sat-Chit-Anand, Swami Gajanana,
I wave the arati for you — save (us) ignorant people.
Jai-dev, Jai-dev ॥ refrain ॥
You make the unconscious conscious, through your leela;
You give the teaching of eternal and impermanent to your devotees.
Jai-dev, Jai-dev ॥ 1 ॥
"Don't forget the made vow" — you tell your devotees;
When the vow is fulfilled, you show wonders.
Jai-dev, Jai-dev ॥ 2 ॥
Whatever the calamity, you avert (it) in five pilgrimages (to Shegaon);
You make the glory of Shegaon immortal in the world.
Jai-dev, Jai-dev ॥ 3 ॥
You tell the essence of the Vedas to your devotees;
Through wonders, you make them wise.
Jai-dev, Jai-dev ॥ 4 ॥
You free (devotees) of disease; you make a man into Narayan;
Gana-Maharaj prays — protect your devotees.
